And the set was made of this stuff. It looked hard but it was soft. It was foam. And my stunt knives were rubber so they didn’t like take out the grip or the camera operator. But we found like…I’d always throw them and Russell Bobbit, the props master, would always go and retrieve them for me for the next take. And he couldn’t find one of the daggers and we were like looking all over the set for this dagger. And I’m like where the hell did it go? And like about half an hour later we’d thought we lost it somewhere in the green screen. And he said, Tom, and he pointed up and this rubber knife was stuck clean into the set, so I knew I was throwing them with some kind of velocity.

He is a combination of mercurial intellectual ability, emotional ambiguity, rakish charm, charisma and provocative wit. He has a wicked inclination to mischief, underneath which is a well of spiritual pain. Both these aspects are central to his depth as a character: his unashamed and perverse delight in creating chaos; and his capacity for raw emotional expression.” (x)

themightierthor:

This afternoon during Marvel’s Next Big Thing panel at Chicago’s C2E2, Jason Aaron appeared, wreathed in lightning, to herald the next major story line in Thor: God of Thunder.
“The Accursed” sees the return of long-incarcerated Malekith, former lord of the Dark Elves. But Svartalfheim has changed since their wicked taskmaster disappeared, banished to an extra-dimensional prison. Are they so willing to accept Malekith and join him on a worlds-wide revenge spree? It’s a hunt that takes Thor, Sif, the Warriors Three and a host of new comrades through many of the Nine Realms. It also comes just in time for Thor: The Dark World‘s theatrical debut and its theatrical introduction to Malekith (Christopher Eccleston) and his loathsome armies.
It all starts in September with Thor: God of Thunder #13. ( x )
